Whisper Rock

Rustic simplicity and luxury in traditional American Southwestern architecture, sandy arroyos, lush stands of saguaros, accented with palo verde and mesquite trees, granite boulder formations and views of Turtle Mountain and Sombrero Mountain – and oh yes, golf! This is what you will experience at the north Scottsdale community of Whisper Rock.

Whisper Rock Estates is comprised of 800 guard-gated acres with one-of a-kind homes nestled in the unspoiled Sonoran Desert landscape. Home sites range from one to five acres, with the average site being approximately 2 acres. There will be 200 homes when this community is fully developed. The spacious homes assure comfortable living, assisted by the community staff if home or lifestyle services are needed.

The gate house is the hub of this Scottsdale luxury home community. Resident services as well as community management staff are located here. There is a fitness center, a private 3-acre park, and trails that range throughout the community to afford you opportunities for recreation.

In addition, homes in this Scottsdale Arizona community are set on the outskirts of the golf courses: the Lower Course, designed by Phil Michelson and Gary Stephenson, opened in 2001, and the Upper Course, designed by Tom Fazio, opened in 2005. Both courses have been planned so that holes are grouped together, separated by ribbons of natural desert terrain. Indeed, there are many holes where no homes are visible during play.

Membership in Whisper Rock Golf Club is by sponsorship and invitation only. Property ownership in Whisper Rock Estates is not required for membership and owning property in Whisper Rock Estates does not create any rights to membership. Whisper Rock Golf Club does not have any social members, and the clubhouse is set up to provide necessities to the golfers- this is a pure golf environment – no fancy restaurants or other facilities here.
